Madi and Ian were high school sweethearts, and tied the knot surrounded by 20 of their closest family and friends. The intimate ceremony took place at “the spot”. This hideaway by the lake was where Ian asked Madi to be his girlfriend in high school, where they went for important convos while managing long distance during college, and where he would ultimately propose.
It was a whirlwind romance between me, Tiffany and Stephen as they were a last minute addition—booking me around 6 weeks before their wedding. From our first FaceTime, I knew these two were uniquely beautiful humans with the sweetest spirits. Their relationship is honest and authentic. They have a deep love and a rare acceptance of each other; it’s the most intriguing and lovely relationship I’ve witness in a long time.
I’ve been thinking about how to put this day into words, because it was such a special wedding to be a part of. Carolyn and Sebastian are yell it with me IN LUUUUHHHVVVEEEE. Like nose burns, lots of tears in the eyes, all the romance kind of love. When I asked them what they appreciate about each other, they both mentioned how well the other loves them. I could’ve guessed that! I also wanted to share a little of their perspective from the wedding day.
Dash is thriving, and I'm so so thankful for that. I love our wedding clients—we have some of the best. I get so much joy watching their friends and families enjoy the amazing experience the couples create. I've had the privilege of telling the stories of couples during the most amazingly luxurious wedding days. I couldn't be more thankful for each family that has trusted me with such an important part of their day, and how each one has built this brand in ways I could only dream about. On the flip side, I feel like I've forced a version of myself thinking I had to fit a certain mold to be successful in Atlanta or have a respected brand.
After a lot of soul searching, conversations, prayer, and traveling, I've found my heart is happiest…
Beth + Dayn have been together for years. They share a home, a pinch-able cutie pie, and now a last name. When Beth, a former Free People manager, shared her vision with me, this wedding quickly became one of the most anticipated of the year. Every minute, detail, and plant(!) had Beth and Dayn's personalities all over it. From the handmade jewelry to personally owned plants to that FLORAL CROWN to the favors, it was the most uniquely custom wedding I've ever been a part of.
